A concerned mum has spoken out after her teenage son was subjected to a series of brutal attacks by a gang of youths, with the boy telling her that he is afraid he may end up dead.
The mum, from Chorley and who does not wish to be named, states that the first attack took place on Bonfire Night 2021 at around 5.45pm.
She says that a group of about five youths punched her son and grabbed at a chain that he was wearing containing his grandmother's ashes. Thankfully, the cherished ashes could be salvaged as they fell into his jumper.
