A mum says mould in her flat has left her fearing for the health of her children - and claims it has cost her thousands of pounds. Skye Joseph, 31, says she often has to fork out to replace items ruined by the mould in her one-bed.
And she says she worries about her family living in the property - especially after hearing about the tragic tale of Awaab Ishak. The toddler died in December 2020 as a direct result of the mould in his family's home in Rochdale, Gtr Manchester., a coroner found.
The mum-of-three said: "I heard the story about that little boy and sobbed. I'm bringing up three children in these conditions. It sets me back with my mental health. I don’t think I ever used to suffer as much as I do now."
