A "remarkable" mum died after being moved to a house which her daughter claims was covered in so much black mould it caused dirt to come out their noses.
Karen McBride, 46, suffered for years in squalid living conditions before her death on August 1 2022. Her daughter, Codie, hit out at 'systemic and policy-based failings' in a powerful statement read out at her mother's inquest at Stockport Coroners' Court this week.
She said: "My mum was a victim of systemic abuse - which is the complete neglect towards a whole class of people in this country.
