A unicorn-obsessed mum was inspired to change her name to Unicorn Sparkles while watching Marie Kondo's hit Netflix show - after discovering her real name 'didn't spark joy'.
Marie Unicorn Sparkles changed her name by deed poll three years ago from Marie Naisbitt after being inspired by the Japanese organising consultant.
Realising she disliked her straight black hair and 'sensible' dark-coloured mum outfits as they didn't reflect her authentic self, in 2019 Marie Unicorn cleared out her wardrobe and hit the hair dye bottle.
