A mum said she burst into tears in a McDonald's restaurant at the 'outstanding' kindness shown by a member of the restaurant's staff to her autistic daughter. Candice Hudspith, 33, said her daughter Harper, four, hid under a table after becoming distressed.
But a McDonald's worker got down on the floor and started colouring with Harper, who soon became happy again. Candice Hudspith, 33, from Birtley, near Gateshead, has since shared a heart-warming message of thanks to the McDonald's staff that has received thousands of likes, ChronicleLive reports.
Candice had gone to the McDonald's near Felling Bypass, Gateshead, last weekend with daughters Harper, four, and Indy, two. As they entered the restaurant Harper started to scream and shout.
