A good samaritan dubbed the “soundest in the world” after helping reunite a student with an ID he lost during a holiday in Magaluf has been revealed as a mum from Glasgow.
Dan Knight, 21, was on a break in the Spanish town with friends last month and was gutted when he realised he had lost his provisional driving licence. However he was elated when he received a handwritten letter in the post containing his ID, signed from ‘Kirsty in Scotland’.
In an attempt to thank her for the kind gesture he contacted the Daily Record and now Kirsty MacIntyre has come forward to say she is glad his ID was returned to its rightful owner.
