A mum has been left bedridden for the last six years after catching what she thought was a cold from her baby daughter.
Amy Ironside Wood contracted Glandular fever from tot Willow - but the virus caused an "autoimmune cascade", ravaging her body and leaving her having to lie down for 22 hours a day.
As well as chronic fatigue, the ligaments holding her skull to her spine have been severely weakened, meaning she is forced to wear a neck brace whenever she stands up for long periods of time.
