A mum-of-two has managed to book a holiday to Barcelona for less than £33 with Jet2.
Nicola Phipps, from Warrington, bought a three-night city break for two adults to the 4-star Melia Barcelona Sky hotel for the exact sum of £32.92.
The tour operator's "Bid for a Break" promotion allows hopeful holidaymakers to bid at little as they choose for a trip, but there's a catch. You can only win if your bid is unique, so while the winning bid needs to be the lowest, it also needs to be the only bid of that amount.

Nicola said she "just put in a couple of random numbers", and now she is ticking a travel destination off her wish list. She said: "I had a notification on the app to advise ‘Bid for a Break’ was back..
"I never thought that I’d actually win! I’m absolutely made up and can’t wait to go on this break! I have never been to Barcelona before, and it was on my wish list. Thank you so much to Jet2holidays.”
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays told the ECHO: “Congratulations to Nicola for successfully bidding for a holiday with Jet2holidays through our ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign and securing a city break to Barcelona for just £32.92.
"With summer in full swing, we know how much UK holidaymakers want to get away to enjoy some much-needed sunshine, and we are giving them the chance to do just that in a fun way for potentially only a few pence.
"We hope she has a wonderful time in Spain. We have some fantastic holidays up for grabs each week, so make sure you get involved and have a bid in mind for next week’s holiday.”
