A mum was left shocked after realising what little circular holders on shopping trolleys are for - and she has now shared her discovery on social media.
Gemma Bird, who goes by @moneymumofficial on TikTok and Instagram, posted a video online about the shopping hack which will prevent items like flowers and baguettes getting squished. She showed a supermarket trolley - the end opposite to the baby seat - and added the caption: "Did you know this? Let me know, I’m in shock, I didn’t haha."
Over the video, she wrote: "Did you know what they were for?" as she expressed her surprise that she hadn't realised sooner. She said: "Is this just me, or did you realise these existed on trolleys?"
