A mum has thanked her midwife for taking an adorable photo of her newborn baby after the dad 'slept in' and missed the birth,
Megan Burns, from Hamilton, shared the heartwarming video on TikTok after she gave birth to baby girl Gabriella in Wishaw General Hospital on November 20, 2021. While her mum Fiona was by her side during the brief hour-and-a-half labour, her boyfriend slept in and missed it.
Initially, the 23-year-old had planned to blog the birth but when it "didn't go as planned" she handed her phone to student midwife Joanna Murray and asked her to take plenty of photos. Megan had decided to follow the TikTok trend of posting something they will never forget and decided to feature Joanna in the clip.
