A family missed out on a £1,500 holiday after they were escorted off a flight by armed police.

Kelly Clarke was poised to fly to Costa Adej, Tenerife, with her nine-year-old son Toby.

They were expected to jet off to the sunshine island at around 5.50pm on May 30.
