Some legendary New England Patriots players are coming back to town for alumni appearances throughout training camp. It’s a long list of former greats to spice things up for the highly-anticipated summer practices.
The appearances start on July 24. Former linebackers Rob Ninkovich and Ted Johnson will appear. The alumni appearances extend into August and finish off with Deion Branch and Corey Dillon on August 13.
The Patriots’ preseason schedule begins on Thursday, August 7, when they take on the Carolina Panthers.
Training camp is particularly exciting this time around for Patriots fans with Jerod Mayo embarking on his first year as head coach. A new-look offense with rookie quarterback Drake Maye, along with a stellar defensive unit should also add to the anticipation for a Patriots team preparing for their season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
