The Georgia Bulldogs have been an NFL factory the last two seasons with 25 players drafted during this stretch. They are once again loaded with NFL-caliber talent and have several players listed in the top 100 draft big board on Tankathon. Georgia’s star tight end Brock Bowers is the top ranked Bulldog on the list.
6. Brock Bowers
Bowers has been one of the most anticipated prospects for the draft since his breakout freshman campaign. He started the season strongly, as in his previous two seasons, but an ankle injury sidelined him. The highest drafted tight end was Kyle Pitts who went fourth in 2020. Bowers could join him as one of highest-drafted tight ends in NFL history.
23. Amarius Mims
Another Georgia offensive tackle could find himself drafted in the first round. Amarius Mims is slotted in as the 23rd-ranked player. The former five-star recruit is another player that’s been banged up this season, but has a chance at returning towards the end of this season. Mims is a monster of a tackle at 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds.
36. Kamari Lassiter
Georgia’s starting cornerback has really came into his own later into the season and particularly after a strong performance against Missouri this past weekend. It’s taken some time for others to notice, but Lassiter will be on NFL radars by the end of the season. He doesn’t have an interception on the season, but he has six pass deflections.
64. Sedrick Van Pran
Georgia’s center has been the most consistent lineman on the team this season and it could result in him getting drafted in April. Van Pran has been a rock in the center of the offensive line with zero sacks allowed and zero QB hits allowed. He isn’t as big as Mims, but he moves well and has an excellent football IQ.
65. Javon Bullard
Javon Bullard is another Bulldog that found himself hurt early in the season, but returned to action recently to help out the Bulldogs in the back half of the secondary. Bullard made his impact known in last year’s national championship, and he sealed the game against Missouri with his first interception on the year.
69. Nazir Stackhouse
Stackhouse would be another defensive tackle into the NFL with Georgia, but he will not have quite the same buzz as Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter. Stackhouse had his biggest play as a Bulldog against Missouri with an interception where he showed off his speed. He’s a run stopper in the middle for the Bulldogs and can transition to the NFL with that skill set.
90. Smael Mondon Jr.
Georgia has two star linebackers that have emerged over the past season and Mondon is one of them. Georgia’s leading tackler has 44 tackles on the season and two sacks. He has a unique combination of speed and physicality at the linebacker position that can translate to the next level.
