THREE lanes of the M8 are closed due to a "multi-vehicle collision".
Lanes three, four and five of the M8 westbound are currently closed at the Junction 14 off-slip according to Traffic Scotland.
Police confirmed there were two vehicles involved in the accident which was reported around 12.40pm.
The current travel time is around 20 minutes and traffic is heavy in the area.
There is a broken down vehicle within the queue before Junction 14 which was blocking one lane but has now been moved to the hard shoulder.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.40pm on Thursday, May 5, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle road crash on the westbound M8 near to J15.
"Officers attended to assist."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
