Mikey Johnston hit a double for West Bromwich Albion today (Sunday) in a 2-0 win over Bristol City.
The former Celtic forward, and long-serving Lennoxtown academy graduate, made his move to the English Championship side during the summer transfer window, following a successful loan spell months prior.
Used primarily off the left side at The Hawthorns, today's brace marked the Ireland internationalist's first and second goals since his move down south – the 25-year-old having featured 18 times so far this season, starting in eight of those games.

Again, drifting in from the inside left channel into the box, Johnston's high, curling strike across the keeper into the net is somewhat signature from the forward.
He admittedly showed less of it towards his time in and around the Celtic first-team in recent years, however that's taking nothing away from the finish above.
Elsewhere in former Celtic player news, Ryan Christie provided a killer assist for Bournemouth in he and his teammates' 3-0 dismantling of Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier today.
