Marjorie Taylor Greene has doubled down on her feud with President Donald Trump, stating that he “absolutely” does not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. Per Newsweek, this dramatic shift comes as Greene has increasingly criticized the president over the ongoing war with Iran and other high-profile policy decisions.
Greene was once one of Trump’s most vocal allies, especially back when she thought he was on a path to earn the prestigious award. In an interview with Kaitlan Collins, she recalled, “You know, at one time, when he wanted to be the president of peace, and he wanted to end wars, and constantly talked about no more foreign wars … ending wars, of course I thought he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. But do I think he deserves it now? No, absolutely not.”
