A big-time tight end prospect from the state of Michigan will be announcing his college decision later this month.
Dyland Mesman of Saline, Mich. has set his commitment date for April 28, with a release of his top five schools a few days before on April 26. Mesman has been a big-time target for Michigan State and is a Spartans’ legacy.
Mesman ranks as the No. 19 tight end and No. 8 player from Michigan in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class. He is also listed as the No. 391 overall prospect in the country.
Mesman holds offers from more than 20 schools, including Michigan State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Ole Miss, Pitt and Purdue. The Spartans are the current favorite to land Mesman’s commitment on both 247Sports and On3.
