Michigan State fans will have to wait a little bit longer before they find out if they’ll be adding a big-time linebacker prospect to their 2024 class.
Four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley announced on Wednesday that he’ll be pushing his commitment date to June 29. Beasley had originally planned to announce his college decision on March 15.
After talking with my parents and a lot of thought I am pushing my commitment date back to June 29th @Drog_23 @Rivals_Clint @AllenTrieu @CoachStewardLBs @247recruiting @JermainCrowell @On3Recruits @Rivals @BellevilleFB @QB_CoachKShort

Beasley ranks as the No. 13 linebacker and No. 157 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also listed as the No. 4 player in the state of Michigan.
Beasley holds scholarship offers from more than 20 programs, according to 247Sports. Some of the bigger named programs that have offered Beasley includes Michigan State, Michigan, Kentucky, Colorado, Nebraska, Penn State and Tennessee.
247Sports currently projects Beasley to end up at Michigan State in their crystal ball predictions. However, delaying his commitment could mean his recruitment has taken a new turn. Beasley will be a prospect that fans should keep an eye on throughout the recruiting process.
