Michigan State will be returning one of the Big Ten’s best edge rushers next year, according to Pro Football Focus.
Pro Football Focus listed Jacoby Windmon as the No. 6 returning edge rusher in the Big Ten. Windmon returns for his second season at Michigan State after transferring from UNLV in the 2021 offseason.
In his first season with the Spartans, Windmon recorded 49 tackles, 5.5 sacks six forced fumbles, and one interception. He only appeared in eight games after being suspended for the final four games of the season due to his role in the Michigan tunnel fight.
Windmon is expected to have a big-time impact on the Spartans’ defense in 2023. Hopefully, he can pick up where he left off and continue to be a dominant factor off the edge for Michigan State.
