Michigan State hockey has added a high-level scoring defenseman to its 2024-25 roster.

Levshunov was selected No. 2 overall in this year’s NHL Draft and has recently elected to forgo his remaining eligibility with the Spartans to begin his professional career.
Lukashevich starred for Tri-City this past season in the USHL. According to Bott, he was third in scoring for defenseman in the USHL with 11 goals and 32 assists. Lukashevich was also a second-team All-USHL selection this past season.
Lukashevich is a fourth-round selection of the Florida Panthers.
