MSU head coach Jonathan Smith talks injuries, previews Illinois matchup

Michigan State football should be getting back a number of key players in this week’s road matchup at Illinois.

The Spartans lost a handful of key contributors in their last game, but head coach Jonathan Smith expects most (if not all) to be back this week against the Fighting Illini. That includes starting quarterback Aidan Chiles.

Michigan State is looking to snap a two-game losing streak in this week’s road tilt at Illinois. The Spartans come into this matchup with a 4-5 overall record and 2-4 mark in Big Ten play.
