Things are starting to point toward a big-time commitment coming for the Spartans on Friday.
A handful of recruiting insiders from 247Sports submitted crystal ball predictions in favor of Michigan State for four-star wide receiver Nick Marsh of River Rouge, Mich. Marsh was previously committed to Michigan State before reopening his recruitment earlier this year.
Marsh ranks as the No. 16 wide receiver and No. 100 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also listed as the No. 3 player from Michigan.
Marsh will be officially announcing his college decision on Friday, with Michigan State, Penn State, Pitt, Kansas and Oregon listed as his finalists. Pitt and Penn State were rumored as the other two favorites for Marsh’s commitment but it appears that the Spartans will win this massive recruiting battle. Stay tuned as a decision from Marsh will be here soon enough.
CRYSTAL BALL: We’re hearing that the Spartans are the team to beat for 2024 four-star WR Nick Marsh, per sources.#MichiganState would be pulling off a rare re-commitment if they hold on to the lead over the final 48 hours or so.
