MSU Football to start CBs Brantley, Woods after loss of Rucker

We have an indication of who will be starting at cornerback for the Spartans following the injury of Chance Rucker.

According to Stephen Brooks of 247Sports, Charles Brantley and Ed Woods were warming up with the starting unit ahead of the Spartans’ matchup against Prairie View A&M on Saturday. Both have plenty of experience and will be stepping in as the top two corners for the Spartans with Rucker out.

Rucker is out for the next month or two after experiencing an injury last week against Maryland.

Kickoff between the Spartans and Panthers is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
