Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to an elite four-star wide receiver from the Lone Star State.
Four-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. announced on Thursday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. Farrakhan hails from The Woodlands, Texas, and is a prospect that has picked up numerous big-time offers already.
Farrakhan ranks as the No. 24 wide receiver and No. 175 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class. He holds offers from 15 schools, according to 247Sports. Some of the notable programs to extend him an offer are Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Houston, Ole Miss, Nebraska, TCU and Tennessee.
Farrakhan is currently projected to end up at Penn State, according to 247Sports. But there’s plenty of time left in the recruiting cycle so we will see if the Spartans can make it up his list of schools before he announces a commitment.
