Selection Sunday is here!
The official unveiling of the 2023 NCAA Tournament will take place tonight, with Michigan State basketball considered a lock to make the field of 68. This will mark the 25th straight NCAA Tournament appearance for the Spartans — which is only second to Kansas, who’ll be making it 33 straight this year.
With the official bracket being revealed tonight at 6 p.m. ET, we have only more day of bracket projections. So let’s take one final look at where the Spartans are projected on the morning of Selection Sunday:

Our Thoughts
Our Thoughts: All of the bracket projections I’ve seen — as well as the Bracket Matrix — have Michigan State as a No. 7 seed. So it seems pretty clear the Spartans will be on that seed line. The bigger item fans should be focusing on this evening is who they get as their draw — both as the No. 10 seed in the first round and the No. 2 seed in their bracket should they advance to the second round. It seems like Marquette and Arizona are the two likely No. 2 seeds they’ll get stuck with in their bracket and I personally would rather face the Golden Eagles.
