Things are about to get much tougher for the Spartans in their second and final exhibition game of the season
No. 4 Michigan State made easy work of Hillsdale College earlier this week in their exhibition opener, winning by 42 points. However, it’s about to get tougher as fellow top 10 foe No. 9 Tennessee is coming to town on Sunday. This exhibition charity matchup will be played at the Breslin Center and should serve as a great early-season indicator of how good both of these teams are.

Game Prediction
Prediction: MSU 71, Tennessee 63
Both Michigan State and Tennessee typically play stout defense so I’m pretty confident we won’t see this early-season exhibition matchup becoming a high-scoring affair. I am, however, unsure on how these two teams will weigh winning vs. playing most of the roster. With that being said, putting a prediction out there is difficult so I’ll go with the easy route of taking the home court and slight talent advantage of Michigan State in this one.
