Michigan State basketball will once again look to bounce back from a tough loss in a home tilt against Georgia Southern on Tuesday.
Michigan State fell to 3-3 on the season after losing on Thanksgiving night against Arizona. The neutral court non-conference loss was the Spartans’ third of the year against a ranked opponent and has resulted in Michigan State dropping out of the Associated Press Top 25 poll this week.
Georgia Southern is in a worse spot than the Spartans, though. The Eagles are winless thus far in 2023, with an 0-6 mark on the year.

Michigan State has failed to play up to their preseason expectations but Georgia Southern simply is not a good team. As long as Michigan State doesn’t come out completely flat, they should easily roll past the Eagles to get back above .500 on the year.
