Michigan State’s strong week on the hardwood has resulted in a higher seed in the latest batch of Bracketology from CBS Sports.

The Spartans picked up a pair of NCAA Tournament resume-boosting victories last week over Maryland and Ohio State, and because of that, Jerry Palm moved them up one spot to a No. 9 seed in Monday’s updated bracket projection. Palm has Michigan State playing No. 8 seed NC State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
