Michigan State basketball has missed the cut for an elite shooting guard prospect from Indiana in the 2025 class.
Four-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins of Greenfield, Ind. has cut the list of schools he’s considering to 10 and Michigan State is reportedly not one of them. According to On3 recruiting insider Joe Tipton, Mullins will be only considering the following schools moving forward: Indiana, Michigan, Alabama, Tennessee, Purdue, North Carolina, Duke, UConn, Kentucky and Kansas.
Mullins ranks as the No. 5 shooting guard and No. 23 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 3 player from Indiana in the class.
Mullins had previously locked in a visit to Michigan State for August 29. However, it’s unclear if he’ll still take that official visit now that the Spartans apparently are not in the mix for his commitment.
