Michigan State basketball hasn’t had a great offseason thus far, and it’s starting to be reflected in Joe Lunardi’s early NCAA Tournament bracket projections for next season.
Lunardi released an updated batch of bracketology on Tuesday, which saw the Spartans drop one seed line to a No. 6 seed. The Spartans were a No. 5 seed in Lunardi’s previous bracket update in April.
In this projected NCAA Tournament from Lunardi, the Spartans would play No. 11 seed St. John’s in a first round matchup from Orlando. It’s unclear if the Spartans’ seeding includes the news that broke on Monday night that Max Christie would not be returning for his sophomore season next year.
