MSP vows action on 'millionaire landowner threatening historic Skye ferry'

WEALTHY landowners cannot be allowed to “trample over our history”, an MSP has said amid concerns about the future of a historic Scottish ferry said to be the last of its kind in the world.

Over the weekend, The National reported on the situation facing the MV Glenachulish – the “last manually operated turntable ferry in existence” – which serves the crossing from Glenelg on the mainland to Kylerhea in Skye.
