Mrs Potts Chocolate House on Park Street is launching limited-edition frozen 'hot chocolate' drinks for summer. Bristol's beloved chocolate cafe, which now has branches in Bath and Cardiff too, is no stranger to putting on events that are the stuff of dreams for chocolate lovers.
In October, their annual 'Hot Choctoberfest' provides fans with weird and wonderful hot chocolate flavours - like this maple bacon creation from last year. While the chocolate house also hosts regular dessert nights, including Christmas and Valentine's Day options.
During the summer months, Mrs Potts is now a firm favourite for ice cream floats, sundaes and milkshakes aplenty. And now there's a festival dedicated to all things frozen and chocolatey.

Mrs Potts' Frozen Hot Chocolate Festival will be running all summer and will feature a variety of frozen hot chocolate flavours, described by staff as the "highlight of the festival". These flavours include classic chocolate (with a vegan option), white chocolate, strawberry white chocolate, mocha (with a vegan option), and caramel frozen hot chocolate, priced at between £5.90 and £6.90.
In addition to these favourite flavours, Mrs Potts will also be introducing a limited edition red velvet flavour for June, as well as two further surprise flavours for July and August. Each frozen hot chocolate is made with real chocolate ganache blended with milk, ice and creamy ice cream, creating what staff say is "a refreshing summer drink that is lighter than our rich milkshakes".
