Mrs Hinch is not just an expert on all things cleaning - she also happens to know a lot about parenting.
As a mum of two boys, Sophie Hinchcliffe often shares scrubbing advice but also parenting tips - and her latest has left her fans with their jaws on the floor.
Taking to Instagram to demonstrate her revelation in a video, she wanted to show it to other parents as she said she was "late to the party" in discovering it. As she pulled the subtle tag in the centre of the McDonald's Happy Meal box, she said: "Yep, I was today years old when I realised that you could do this."
Unknown to many, pulling the tab separates the container in half, peeling the lid from its bottom half. This results in a makeshift plate for the chips and burger, meaning that you no longer have to put the kids' food on napkins.
As reported by The Mirror, Sophie asked: "What have I been doing all my life? I have no idea but I promise you now this has changed my life forever."
She captioned the video: "WHHHAATTT! Please tell me I'm not alone here? Did anyone else not know this? Why am I always late to the party?!" She then encouraged her followers to: "Use this audio and share a hack you've discovered!"
In the comments, other people were amazed by the trick.
One mum joked: "Wow. Wilby's staple diet and I did not know that. He will be well impressed when I pull that one out of the bag later", and another added: "Seriously, this should be in the curriculum..."
Someone else wrote: "My mind has been blown by this!! Wtf! I live under a rock or else I'm just old!"
"WHAT", someone questioned, whilst another commented: "Oh my goodness."
