Cleaning fans who follow influencer Mrs Hinch, have shown a cost-effective tip for 'melting away' toilet limescale.
And what's more, the practical hack to banish any build-up will only put you back 37p. The clever trick was shared in a Cleaning Tips Facebook page where fans of the social media star can ask and share cheap yet useful advice.
Most recently a member of the group was struggling with limescale build up and was looking for some ways to get rid of it, writes the Mirror.
The user wrote: "Does anyone have any advice on getting rid of this tough toilet limescale in my new house, I've tried bleach?"
The comments were soon filled with advice, and many cleaning aces were quick to recommend the same household item.
One person responded: "Before you go to bed, empty the water out from the toilet and pour white vinegar down it until the morning. Repeat if necessary."
Others agreed that white vinegar was the best product for the job and added that bleach might not be able to tackle this issue.
"Bleach won't work so you need to use something else such as white vinegar. Add some directly into the toilet bowl and use the brush to mix it around," another wrote. "Leave it to work and you can also add some baking soda to create a reaction if you want to, it could be more effective. Scrub and the limescale should melt away."
You can pick up this cleaning essential from many stores, including Wilko where you can get a bottle for £1.50.
As this bottle is enough to do four toilet cleans, each one would only set you back 37p.
