Washing windows and other glass in your home such as shower doors can be a real pain, as it can be all too easy to end up with a streaky mess even when you think you've got the glass sparkling. But fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch - real name Sophie Hinchliffe - have said there's actually an easy way to make sure you never get streaky windows and get the perfect sparkle on your glass.
Cleaning fans say all you need to do is wash your windows using one household item that you probably already own, but can be bought for just 37p if you don't, Express.co.uk reports.

Instead of using harsh cleaning solutions that will kill bacteria but will still leave streaks on your windows, what you should be using instead is washing up liquid, according to fans in one Mrs Hinch cleaning tips group on Facebook.
And while the vast majority of us will have some in our cupboard under the sink already, those of us who need a top-up can buy some from Asda for 37p.
The tip surfaced after one woman asked in the group: "[What are the] best tips for cleaning windows with no streaks?"
The woman received over 200 comments from cleaning fans who were eager to share their hacks with her, and many of them suggested using washing up liquid to ensure a streak-free and sparkling finish.
One person wrote: "Good old-fashioned washing up liquid with water does the trick."
While another said: "Washing up liquid in hot water and then dry it off with kitchen roll."
And a third wrote: "I use washing liquid in hot water and use a squeegee, then dry with a paper towel absolutely sparkling."
Some others also suggested using washing up liquid but included extra steps, such as using microfibre cloths to wash and dry the glass or even polishing the surface with old newspaper.
Someone said: "I washed my windows the other day with a drop of washing up liquid with a cloth and polished with newspaper and they looked like new."
As someone else posted: "Bowl of water, a tiny drop of washing up liquid, a splash of Zoflora for fragrance and one wet and one dry microfibre cloth."
There were also commenters who suggested adding fabric softener to the mixture of washing up liquid and water, as the theory is that this will help glass stay cleaner for longer, as fabric softener has the added bonus of helping to repel dirt and dust.
One wrote: "I use washing up liquid in a small bucket of hot water, add some conditioner and use one of those minky sponges on the rough side to effectively wash my windows.
"I clean it off with a squeegee blade. It gives absolutely amazing results. I don't do it any other way now. Guarantee no streaks."
