Comedian Brendan O'Carroll was forced to stop his Mrs Brown's Boys D’Tour live show in Glasgow on the weekend after a huge 10-minute brawl reportedly broke out.
The live performance was showing at the Hydro Arena on Saturday night when the “punch-up” occurred, according to reports.
The show had to be stopped while security quickly moved in to restore calm, allowing the gig to continue.
Some of the audience members have since revealed they thought the brawl in the crowd was part of the performance.
Fans have posted on the Mrs Brown's Boys Facebook page detailing their disbelief as the comedy show was interrupted.
One said: "Didn't stop laughing from start to finish even with 10 min punch up that went on behind us but the cast were very professional and carried on."
"Don't know what was funnier, the actual performance or the fact the show stopped whilst the fight was happening in the crowd," another wrote.
A third fan joked they thought the brawl was part of the performance, writing: "Great show, except from the 'extras' that had to be heard in the audience."
Another fan wrote: "A great show with some unnecessary interruptions. However, you managed as usual to rise above it."
"Hopefully no cat fights in the crowd on your next show," quipped another.
Brendan’s D’Live Show is currently touring the UK with shows in Sheffield, Cardiff and Edinburgh later this month.
The news of the brawl comes just weeks after O'Carroll revealed he hasn't spoken to former co-star Gary Hollywood since he quit, with the show's creator saying the cast and crew "miss him".
Gary, 42, had played Dino Doyle on the BBC sitcom from its debut in 2011 until 2020, having previously played the role in the stage production of it from 2004 onwards.
He however quit the show two years ago, with him said to have claimed he was paid less than other cast members - launching legal action, which was reportedly later dropped.
And the show's creator and lead actor Brendan, 66, - who plays matriarch Agnes Brown - opened up about where things stand with Gary since his sudden departure last month.
He told the Irish Mirror recently that Gary was a "great actor," further saying about his former co-star: "We miss him. He used to call me 'father'. He was part of the family."
Brendan - who appears on the show alongside several of his own family members - however added: "We haven't spoken since [he quit] and haven't heard a word from him since."
