MP: ‘Stone balls’ worshipped by locals turn out to be 70-million-year-old dinosaur eggs!

A recent development in a village of Madhya Pradesh has piqued the interest of both experts and travellers. As per the reports, it has been revealed that in the village of Padlya in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district, the revered ‘stone balls’ that people have been worshipping for a long time, turns out to be fossilised eggs of dinosaurs.

Locals, including Vesta Mandaloi and his family, have been worshipping these revered stone balls for generations. These palm-sized objects, known as ‘Kakar Bhairav’ or the lord of the land, were traditionally believed to be the protective deities, or kuldevta, ensuring the safety of farms and livestock.
