MP behind assisted dying Bill defends it as medical body adds voice of concern

The MP behind the assisted dying Bill has defended it as another leading medical body raised concerns about the risks of it “failing to protect vulnerable patients”.

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) said it believes there are “concerning deficiencies” with the proposed legislation as it stands.
