
Mozambique's opposition leader is expected to return from exile Thursday to push his claim to have won presidential elections, risking an escalation in a dispute about the vote just days ahead of the swearing in of his rival.
Venancio Mondlane announced last week he would land at Maputo's international airport at around 8:00 am (0600 GMT) to continue his demand for "electoral truth" after the October vote.
