Diaby's confirmed Arsenal decision

Arsenal's interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby has led many Gunners fans to believe that the Frenchman is the new 'mystery' player.

The 23-year-old is highly sought after by a number of clubs, including Newcastle, and Mikel Arteta has already been handed a key message regarding where his target would like to go in the future.

Newcastle could not offer the France international European football, which may put the Gunners in a better position to negotiate a deal for the 23-year-old.

Edu's dream double signing

PSG look set to complete a brilliant swoop for two Arsenal targets, coming close to securing both Renato Sanches and Fabian Ruiz for just £37m.

That comes after the Gunners were reportedly told that Ruiz might cost less than £10m.

The failure to finish both deals has meant that the importance of bringing in Youri Tielemans in this window has increased. The Gunners are said to have cooled their interest in the Leicester man, but with other options being reduced, they might be forced to return to a former target.

Arsenal could be forced into making a move for Cody Gakpo after Premier League rivals ramp up their interest in the 23-year-old.

The PSV Eindhoven winger is on Edu's shortlist, but no formal progress has been made despite ongoing communication between the players' representatives and Arsenal.

As it is reported that newcomers Nottingham Forest have made their own offer for the player, Arsenal could be pressured into picking up the speed in which they act.
