Both the funeral mass and the cremation service will be streamed online, while those attending the funeral are requested to "add a bright colour to their outfit" in order to help Jordan’s family "celebrate his life”. Mourners are also being asked to make donations to Pieta House instead of purchasing flowers.
The notice, published on RIP.ie, reads: "[Jordan] is predeceased by his loving mam Sharon and uncle Michael. He will be sadly missed by his loving dad Albert and Albert's brother and sisters, aunt Michelle, cousin Craig, his 2nd family Gerry, Leeanne and Maria Nolan, his close friends Geena and Megan, relatives and a large circle of friends. May Jordan Rest In Peace."
Heartfelt tributes have already been paid to Jordan online, with RTE 2 tweeting: “We are very sad to hear of the death of Jordan Dunbar. Jordan featured on First Dates Ireland and was also a presenter on the series My Yellow Brick Road. A wonderful talent, gone far too young. Our deepest sympathies to his loved ones.”
