Motors ripped apart as horror crash between car and van closes A70 near Ayr

A70 Ayr Coylton Ayrshire

Two motors have been left wrecked on a busy Scots road after a horror crash between a car and van.

Officers were alerted to the crash on the A70 in Ayrshire between Holmston Roundabout and Coylton just before 6am this morning. The incident involved a blue Audi and a white van.

Shocking images from the scene show the mangled remains of the two vechiles. The Audi can be seen with it's entire front-right section caved in and missing a side door, with the van's side also ripped apart.
