A street in a suburban London town centre and a bridge over the River Thames have been revealed to be among the most lucrative roads in the country for generating funds from parking offences.
Station Parade generated £2,030,242 for Barking and Dagenham council, while motorists breaching the weight restrictions on Albert Bridge paid Kensington and Chelsea council £1,971,714 in penalty fines.
