A motorcyclist was hurt when he was hit by debris on the M60. Drivers reported seeing a fridge and a wheelbarrow in the carriageway near Cheadle on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on the clockwise section of the M60 near Cheadle. One eye-witness told the M.E.N. a motorcyclist hit a wheelbarrow.
Greater Manchester Police responded to the incident. A spokesman confirmed the biker was hurt but the extent of his injuries wasn't clear.

Motorists called police to report debris in the carriageway, including a wheelbarrow and a fridge.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "We have received a number of reports from the public regarding debris on the M60 towards Trafford at around 1:30pm on Tuesday 2 August.
"It is believed a motorcyclist has collided with the debris and the extent of any injuries at this moment at time are unknown."
A police investigation into the incident is continuing.
The incident caused only minor disruption for other traffic on the M60.
