For the past five years, Moto Guzzi has been in the midst of a transformation and modernization project, right in its iconic home on Lake Como in Mandello del Lario. It took over 50 million Euros and untold amounts of work, but the finished project has now been unveiled to the public as Guzzi celebrates its 105th anniversary.
The annual festival, Moto Guzzi World Days, officially kicked off on September 3, 2026, and will run through September 6, 2026. If you've ever ridden a Moto Guzzi, you know the brand prides itself on its long, unstinting heritage, as well as the fact that it's remained in its home at Mandello del Lario ever since the beginning. As the video above shows, Guzzi never moved, and more importantly, never removed what gave the brand its heart.
Instead, over time, it built and adapted to the changes needed to advance with the times; especially now, especially with this newest transformation. There's now 4,200 square meters of multi-purpose spaces that Moto Guzzi will make available to the public. The new motorcycle production facility, which will be able to produce over 30,000 motorcycles per year, has been purpose-built with 1,300 square meters of photovoltaic panels, taking advantage of the abundant natural light that graces the area.

New facilities that integrate some of Piaggio Fast Forward's robotic ground drone technologies for transportation between the production line and final testing of the bikes before they're packed up and shipped. This, Piaggio Group says, is meant to "[keep] physical demands on workers to a minimum" while "maximizing safety." There's also a new 3,000 square meter Moto Guzzi Museum to consider, and all of this is currently the focal point of Moto Guzzi World Days 2026.
Festivities will be ongoing throughout the weekend, including one of the major highlights, the Moto Guzzi parade from Lecco to Mandello on Saturday.
