The Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) has recently made significant changes to its board of directors, indicating a promising future for the organization. Among the fresh faces added to the board are industry leaders Nicole Clemens, President of Paramount Television Studios, John Goldwyn of John Goldwyn Prods., and Maria Rodriguez, a managing partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Los Angeles. Furthermore, several members have made the transition from the board of governors to the board of directors. Dr. Eric Esrailian from UCLA, Kevin McCormick, Warner Bros. Pictures Executive VP of Production and Senior Advisor, Peter Rice, a veteran executive, Karen Rosenfelt from Sunswept Entertainment, Emma Thomas, an Oscar-nominated producer, and John Wells from John Wells Prods. are all joining the board as part of this transition.
These changes come at a pivotal time for the MPTF as the entertainment industry gradually bounces back from the labor strikes that occurred in 2023.
