Motherwell will play Partick Thistle in a friendly on Saturday at Firhill.
The Jags confirmed that their pitch had passed an inspection after intensive work on the surface over the summer. Graham Alexander's side will now travel to Glasgow this weekend to play the Scottish Championship side with kick-off at 3pm.
The friendly clash will be the first time that 'Well fans can watch their beloved side live in action this season. Motherwell fans can purchase tickets for the game on the Thistle website at £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s and concessions.
The Steelmen enjoyed a successful pre-season training camp in Austria as Alexander prepared his squad for the upcoming Conference League qualifiers against either Bala Town or Sligo Rovers.
Motherwell rounded off their trip to Austria with a comprehensive 5-1 win over Steyr on Friday. Kevin van Veen bagged a hat-trick with Barry Maguire adding a brace.
Well boss Alexander will be aiming to build on an impressive 5th placed finished in the Scottish Premiership last season.
The Steelmen silenced their doubters to secure a European adventure and their commitments in the Conference League qualifiers ensured they didn't take part in the Premier Sports Cup group stages, which started at the weekend.
