Motherwell striker offers to support fan during tattoo tribute

Motherwell striker Kevin Van Veen has offered to sit with a supporter while they undertake a tattoo tribute.

After supporter David Torrance announced on Twitter that his Van Veen tattoo was booked, the Dutch striker responded with: "Ha ha, it's not too late to overthink this...

"If you are going for it and I am in Schotland I will come and sit in with you to make sure everything goes smoothly."

Van Veen finished the season as top scorer at the club with 11, and is under contract for next season, with the club trying to tie him down on a longer deal.

The former Scunthorpe United striker is known for winding up defenders on the pitch and opponents off the pitch with some of his comments last season.
