Motherwell's Bevis Mugabi has been called up to the Uganda squad for a mini-tournament during this month's international break.
The defender has impressed at Motherwell this season and signed a new deal earlier this year until 2024 as a mark of his progress.
He's now earned a return to the international scene with Uganda, and a lengthy trip abroad awaits Mugabi.
The Cranes will play in a small friendly tournament in Uzbekistan that will start on March 25th and finishes up on March 29th.
Uganda will take on Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgz Republic during the run of matches.
The four-team tournament will be used as a warm for the AFCON 2023 qualifying matches, which begin in June.
Mugabi will be aiming to put the previous weekend behind him after being sent off inside a minute of Motherwell's Scottish Cup loss to Hibs.
