Motherwell have signed Irish defender Dan Casey to bolster their squad.
Casey is the eighth player to come in since the start of January.
The 25-year-old, who was most recently with Sacramento Republic in America, comes in as Shane Blaney looks set to miss a period through injury, having been taken off during the 2-0 defeat against St Johnstone on Wednesday.
Casey has represented Ireland at youth level and has over 80 appearances in the League of Ireland Premier Division. He was with Sunderland's academy for four years.
Motherwell boss Steven Hammell told the club's website: "Dan has been someone we have been tracking for a while.
"He had a great season in America where MLS clubs were interested in securing his signature.
"We feel like we needed some cover in this area of the pitch with Shane [Blaney] picking up a knock in our most recent game.
"As I've said before, before I sign any player, they need to want to be here, and that's the case with Dan."
